June Recap
MTEC Defense Medical Innovation Summit
Washington, DC | July 17-18
We attended the MTEC Defense Medical Innovation Summit in Washington, DC, July 17-18. The meeting highlighted the importance of medical readiness and innovative medical solutions for service members as well as the changing federal R&D landscape. Brain health was an important part of the meeting and new technologies were highlighted including our TBI Navigator product. We learned the budget for TBI R&D went from $175 million in FY2024 to $0 in FY2025, but we were encouraged to hear it will be funded in FY2026, likely not at the prior level and likely with a more targeted focus.
