Combat medics face the challenging dual responsibility of providing life-saving care while maintaining accurate documentation of their interventions.
Manual documentation during tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) scenarios can detract from the higher priority mission of combat casualty care.
To address this challenge, we developed the Autonomous Communications Medical Ecosystem (ACME) as part of TATRC’s Autonomous Casualty Care Research Portfolio.
ACME combines a body-worn sensor suite and mobile application designed to passively capture medic actions and patient vitals during care delivery.
